Permission is granted to install and use 3DS AutoSave free of charge on
personal, educational or professional computers. Selling, sublicensing,
redistributing modified versions or presenting the product as your own is
not permitted without written authorization from 3DS ARCHITECTS.

The software is provided as is, without a warranty of uninterrupted operation
or liability for losses arising from its use. The user must maintain
independent backups of their projects.

3DS ARCHITECTS is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or
endorsed by Autodesk. Autodesk and Revit are trademarks of Autodesk, Inc.

OPERATIONS ON YOUR FILES

When you enable autosave or use Save now, AutoSave saves pending changes
to selected documents through Revit. For local RVT, RTE and RFA files it
creates a 3DS BACKUPS folder beside the current file. Files in the same
source folder share this directory. Each copy contains the complete
document as it existed before saving, including its contents.

The 1-to-20-copy limit applies separately to each file. After a successful
save, owned previous copies beyond that file's limit are deleted, as are
new numbered backups Revit generated during that attempt. If saving fails,
previous copies are retained and may temporarily exceed the limit.
Backups may use substantial disk space.

If you change a file's location, new copies are created in the current
location's 3DS BACKUPS. Earlier histories remain under your control. Revit
continues to manage workshared and cloud recovery; saving does not mean
synchronizing with the central model.

DATA AND PRIVACY

In this version, AutoSave processes open documents' names, paths, types
and status on your computer to apply saving preferences and tab colors.
Per-file preferences may retain paths. Local logs may contain names, paths,
dates and error details. AutoSave includes no telemetry, analytics or
automatic transmission of models, backups, settings or logs to
3DS ARCHITECTS or third parties.

Settings and language are kept in %APPDATA%\AutoGuardadoRevit; logs are kept
in %LOCALAPPDATA%\AutoGuardadoRevit\Logs. To avoid color conflicts, tab
coloring may adjust pyRevit's document-coloring preference and keep a local
copy of its configuration in AutoSave's settings folder. That copy may
contain other data present in the original pyRevit configuration.

Logs, settings and configuration copies remain until you delete them
manually. Document backups follow your chosen limit, except when saving
fails or files are locked. Uninstalling preserves settings and backups.
You can disable autosave globally or per file; to stop the entire add-in,
uninstall it with Revit closed. You can manually delete your local backups
and data with Revit closed; doing so removes those recovery options or
resets your preferences.

If you save to a shared, synced or externally managed folder, its access,
sync and service rules also apply to the copies. Website, store, social
and email links open only when clicked and are governed by those services'
policies. The add-in does not automatically attach models or logs. If you
contact support, send only information you choose to share; you can request
deletion of information you have sent by writing to the contact below.
